SAPA: CONQUER THE TOP OF MT. FANSIPAN
( 3 days and 2 nights in mountain)
Night 1: Hanoi- Lao Cai
8.00 pm- Mini bus pick up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station
9.00 pm- Train departs and you spend the night on our soft sleeping train. Travel time approx 9 hours.
Day 1: Campat 2250 m
You will be picked up at Lao Cai train station at approx 7.00 am by mini bus to be at Sapa around 8.00 am. After breakfast and a shower take a short break and some last preparation for the challenging hike. Transfer by jeep to starting point at Tram Ton pass located at 1950 m above sea level. (Travel 15 kms by jeep). Start hiking, after roughly few hours through the primitive rain jungles, many small creeks and bamboo forests. You will have managed to reach a high of 2250 m, we will camp at this point, prepare for dinner and the first night in the camp.
Day 2: Conquer Fansipan Peak.
Breakfast at the camp and then continue climbing to the Summit. After 4 hours, you will successfully conquer the roof of Vietnam and Indochina. Spend some one hour enjoying landscapes from surrounding mountains. At this roof you can see overall picture of Sapa and Lai Chau province. Have lunch and then return down to the same point for 2nd night
Day 3: Back down to Sapa
After breakfast we will take another route to go down to the foot of mountain where you can visit, learn the lifestyle, traditional customs of Black H’mong tribe in Sin Chai village. Take jeep back to Sapa in the afternoon. Shower and dinner before heading to Lao Cai station for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Night 4: Lao Cai- Hanoi
5.00 am: Arrive at Tran Quy Cap train station for van transfer to hotel.
