Option 3: Medium Trekking

CAT CAT – Y LINH HO –  LAO    CHAI – GIANG TA CHAI – SU PAN

( 3 days, 1 night in hotel, 1 night home stay) 

Night 1: Hanoi- Lao Cai

8.00 pm- Mini bus pick up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station

9.00 pm- Train departs and you spend the night on our soft sleeping train. Travel time approx 9 hours.

Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages- Sapa ( B, L, D)

We pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, bring you to the township of Sapa which takes some 1 hour.

8.00 am- After breakfast and a morning shower, we will start to walk to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages in the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of beautiful valley towards Fasipan- Highest peak of Vietnam and Indochina. Go through the village of Black H’mong Ethnic Minority, see people weaving and embroidering their clothes, keep going down, enjoying colorful rice terraces and the interesting waterfall. Back to Sapa.

12.30 pm: Enjoy your lunch in the hotel restaurant. Afternoon will be your free time to explore Sapa ethnic market and town. Overnight in Sapa Hotel.

Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai- Ta Van ( B, L, D)

Check out hotel, leave your baggage in the hotel.

8.00 am- After breakfast and a morning shower, we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where you can admire magnificent landscapes. Here you have chance to discover the wonderful scenery of Hoang Lien  Mountain ranges and meet the Black H’mong tribes. Trek through the terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa River, where you can have a nice swim.

We then cross the suspension bridge towards the Zay village, arriving at Ta Van, here you have dinner cooked on wood fire, enjoying the hospitality of our Zay family and homestay overnight.

Day 3: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai- Su Pan- Sapa ( B, L, D)

Enjoy mountain landscape with your sunrise coffee, the enjoy a delicious breakfast, trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai village which us inhabited by the Red Zao minorities

Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Mung Hoa River up too the mountain to visit Sunpan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus ride back to Sapa. Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Hanoi.

Night 4: Lao Cai- Hanoi

5.00 am- Arrive at Tran Quy Cap station in Hanoi- van transfer to hotel.
